Google & Meta Ads Management in Nigeria
Paid search and paid social run by a software company — which means the conversion tracking actually works, WhatsApp leads are attributed to the campaign that produced them, and the report shows cost per qualified lead instead of impressions.

Why a Software Company Runs Ads Differently
We are not a marketing agency and we are not going to pretend to be one. We build software. The reason we run paid campaigns is that we kept watching clients spend real money on ads pointed at pages that could not convert, with tracking that did not work, reporting numbers nobody could act on.
The specific failure is almost always the same. A Nigerian business runs ads, enquiries come in on WhatsApp, and nobody can tell which campaign, keyword or ad produced them. So the agency reports reach, impressions and click-through rate — numbers that sound like performance and predict nothing — and the business cannot tell whether it made money.
What we do differently is unglamorous. We instrument the whole path: click to landing page to WhatsApp message to enquiry to quote to closed deal. Every WhatsApp conversation carries a hidden reference back to the campaign, keyword and ad that started it. Server-side conversion tracking rather than browser-only, because Nigerian users block and clear things. Then the monthly report says: this campaign cost ₦X, produced Y qualified leads at ₦Z each, and closed N deals worth ₦M. That is a number you can make a decision with.
Before You Spend a Naira
Three honesty checks we run before taking an ads engagement, because paid traffic magnifies whatever is already true about your business.
1. Can your website convert?
If your landing page loads in nine seconds on 3G, buries your phone number, has no clear single action and looks like it was built in 2016, ads will just deliver people to a bad experience faster. Fixing the page usually returns more than the first month of ad spend. We will tell you if that is where your money should go first.
2. Does somebody answer?
Paid leads decay in minutes. If WhatsApp enquiries sit unanswered until the next morning, you are buying leads for a competitor who replies in ninety seconds. We check response times before launching. If nobody can answer promptly, we would rather fix that first — or build you automation that does.
3. Do the economics work?
If your product's margin is ₦5,000 and a qualified lead in your category costs ₦4,000 with a one-in-four close rate, paid ads lose you money on every sale. We do this arithmetic before quoting. Sometimes the honest answer is that your category cannot support paid acquisition and your money belongs in SEO, referrals or a Google Business Profile instead.
What the Engagement Covers
Google Search
The highest-intent channel there is: someone typing what you sell, right now. Keyword research grounded in what Nigerians actually search, tight ad groups, negative keyword lists that stop you paying for "free" and "salary" and "jobs" traffic, ad copy tested properly, sitelinks and call extensions, and location and schedule targeting. Call-only campaigns where phone is how your customers buy.
Meta — Facebook and Instagram
Demand creation rather than demand capture, which means creative decides everything. Audience building from your customer list and website visitors, lookalikes, click-to-WhatsApp campaigns which consistently outperform lead forms in Nigeria, retargeting people who visited but did not enquire, and creative tested in real volume rather than one image left running for a month.
Tracking and attribution
The part most agencies skip. Conversion tracking configured and verified, server-side events where browser tracking is unreliable, WhatsApp click attribution with campaign references carried into the conversation, call tracking, and offline conversion import so a deal closed three weeks later is credited to the ad that started it. Without this you are guessing.
Landing pages that hold up
We build the page as well as the campaign, which is the advantage of hiring a software company. Fast on a mid-range Android phone on a weak connection, one clear action, WhatsApp button prominent, trust signals visible, and built so we can test variants against each other rather than arguing about which headline is better.
Pricing, and What Budget You Need
Setup & tracking
from ₦350,000 one-off
Account structure, conversion tracking built and verified end to end, WhatsApp attribution, analytics, and one landing page. Worth doing even if you then run the ads yourself — and we are happy for you to.
Managed
from ₦150,000 / month
One platform, campaign build and ongoing optimisation, weekly checks, monthly report on cost per qualified lead. Suits ad spend up to about ₦1,000,000 a month. Above that we move to a percentage.
Percentage of spend
10–15% of ad spend
For larger accounts across Google and Meta together, with landing page iteration, creative testing and monthly strategy sessions. Minimum ₦300,000 a month.
On ad spend, be realistic. Below about ₦250,000 a month there is rarely enough data for the platforms to optimise or for us to learn anything, and management fees eat too much of the total. If your budget is smaller, spend it on a Google Business Profile, your website and your existing customer list rather than on ads — and we will say so rather than taking the retainer.
Your ad spend goes directly to Google and Meta from your own account. We do not resell it, mark it up or hold it. You own the accounts, the data and the campaign history. If you leave, everything stays with you — which is deliberately the opposite of how agencies that run ads through their own accounts operate.
What We Will Not Do
Worth stating, because these are common in this market.
- We will not run ads through our own account and rent you access. Your data and your history belong to you.
- We will not report on impressions and reach as if they were results. If we cannot attribute leads, we will say the tracking is broken and fix it.
- We will not promise a position, a cost per click or a guaranteed number of leads. Anybody who does is either guessing or about to disappoint you. We will give you a realistic range from comparable accounts and revise it with real data after the first month.
- We will not take the engagement if the arithmetic does not work for your margins, or if nobody in your business is going to answer the leads.
- We do not run ads for categories we cannot stand behind, including unlicensed financial products and anything requiring a licence the client does not hold.
